On the Bright Side

The continuation of my delayed IQS posts… Week 4.

Earmarked as the toughest week yet where you start questioning yourself and others question your actions too.
This week IQS 8WP suggests one quits coffee, gluten and alcohol. Read: will drinking coffee after having alcohol the night before – swell. But like most things nowadays we toke this with a pinch of salt (not sugar obvs.) and adapted it to our lifestyles. One coffee, okay. Gluten, yum (kidding I’m gluten intolerant but the others had fun they told me about it). Alcohol, we’ll cut back… think about it.

Cafe brunch, perfect eggs and dry toast. Perks of GF.

Finally home after an extra long weekend and straight back to the kitchen to make my perfect mince. It’s tomato free and a vege:meat ratio of 1:1 and a the appearance of a rainbow. The first batch went straight onto oodles of zoodles.

Amaranth, the best grain for homemade sushi ever. I actually haven’t made this since… I’m definitely re-adding this to the menu. Oh and adding amaranth to the shopping list as not having any in the pantry could hinder making it…

How I made it through a week of temptation, sf hot choc, greek yoghurt and oogling at brownie.

 

When two of your favourite girls come to town and there’s $10 cocktails on the menu it would be rude not to join the club for just one beverage.
