Nothing Fruity Here

So… Life got busy, quitting sugar didn’t exactly work out but I’ll leave that for a later post as I’ve got a whole lot of back logged food photos for your eyes to oogle. So I’ll just leave it as is where is, enjoy.

Hello, missed us? Been hanging out to hear about or week 3’s? You probably thought we’d died due to lack of sugar consumption. Woah. No need to be dramatic. Actually, I’ll have you know we’re feeling fine, mighty fine to be exact. But we’ll save those juicy bits for the week 4 post and head down memory lane to over a week ago, week 3.

Sophie:

This lady had the odd borderline meal during week 3… When you’re living a lifestyle of eating out frequently for a week (lucky for some) you have to make do with what the menu gives you. She didn’t care and neither should we. Starving simply isn’t an option we condone.

Lauren:

After my previous comments on my love of stone fruit this no fruit business was not something I sent my CV in for. Work is still receiving delicious fruit deliveries, luckily I only had 2 days in the office and a 6 day weekend! Saved by the bell some would say. However, a 6 day weekend filled with a birthday and wedding means a lot of food and beverage consumption. Here’s how my memory serves:

  • Coconut isn’t included, praise the sugar free gods I can still add coconut cream to my coffee (do it you’ll have no regrets) and enjoy co-yo all over erray thang.
  • I had a blank, first fruit faux pas was at dinner. Who would have thought!
  • Pretty proud of myself for only having one #iqsconfession… see later.
  • Won in wedding roulette. Alternate placings gave me chicken and lentils, so much winning.
  • Actually missed not cooking after finding my love for it once again… although I definitely couldn’t cook as well as the caterers do!

There are at least 6 different condiments on this.

Worst salad and value for money.

The commencement of celebrations, delicious celebrations.

#iqsconfessions double whammy! Mango sorbet.

Confession on my confessions, I couldn’t finish and found it ridiculously sweet but when you’re lactose intolerant cheese boards are but a dream.

Insert boat trip to Waiheke.

Pre-wedding day raw salad to balance the conscience.

Alternate placement win.

I’m not sure what I ate for the rest of the weekend… I have a feeling it was 3 different sittings of fish and chips, maybe a burger. Maybe it’s time for a cleanse. It was sugar free and full of fat so it kind of follows the programme, right?
